Early Learning Program
For more than 36 years, Beacon Center for Children has been providing Early Learning services.
Our Early Learning Program uses a value-centered approach to foster a child’s intelligence and creativity along with good communication skills. Children's individuality is celebrated while a love for learning is cultivated. Children are encouraged to be considerate of their friends, honest and kind, flexible and assertive, appreciative and welcoming. They walk away with the tools needed for success!

Groups
In our Early Learning Program, children are divided into groups focusing on their individual needs and interests. There is some overlap in the age groups. As children get older and their skills get stronger, the group activities will reflect these changes, creating an atmosphere that challenges and excites them.
There are four classes grouped according to age:
In each group, the day includes three activities: one to cultivate language arts and reading readiness, one for math readiness, and a topical art activity. The program consists of age-appropriate amounts of:
✔ Indoor and Outdoor Free Play
✔ Reading and STEM Readiness Activities
✔ Music Appreciation and Creation
✔ Imaginary Play
✔ Storytelling
✔ Drama
✔ Dance/Creative Movement
✔ Experimentation/Nature Exploration
✔ Arts and Crafts
